Stanley 'Coach Luck' Thomas

Bio
My name is Stanley “Coach Luck” Thomas, and football has been a part of my life since I was four years old. I played multiple positions throughout my career, including quarterback, running back, and safety. In 1999, I was honored as the Fairfax County MVP (150 lb division) while playing with the Vienna Raiders. I later continued my playing career at the semi-professional level as a quarterback and defensive back with the Virginia Steelers in 2013 and as a defensive back with the Virginia Chargers from 2014 to 2015.
I began coaching alongside my father and have continued working with youth athletes over the years, including coaching the 9U Winchester Wolfpack (2017–2018), 10/11U Winchester Cowboys (2022), and 10/11U Stephen’s City Seminoles (2023). I am also certified in Concussion in Sports (2025).
Coaching is my way of giving back to the game that shaped me. I am passionate about helping kids who truly want to learn football reach their highest potential, both on and off the field. Fun fact—despite what people might expect on the sidelines, I’m a proud girl, dad to three daughters and one son. I’m here for the love of the game and, most importantly, for these kids.
