John G. Hott

Bio
I bring several years of youth coaching experience across multiple sports. I played tight end for one year in middle school before stepping away due to an autoimmune condition, but my passion for athletics and mentoring young players continued through coaching. From 1999 to 2001, I served as an assistant coach for peewee football in Hampshire County, West Virginia, working with the Panthers and Dragons under Robert Hawk. I later served as Head Soccer Coach with Brysa from 2019 through 2024 and coached flag football with the Jets UA Rise program in 2025.
While I do not currently hold formal certifications, I focus on fundamentals, discipline, and positive player development. What I love most about coaching is the opportunity to invest in the lives of young athletes. Supporting their growth, character, and confidence is incredibly meaningful to me and a lasting reward.
Fun fact: I can play the drums.
